Summer Reading Program Schedule

read for the winWe welcome you to come to any or all of the scheduled programs at the library this summer!  Registration is ongoing and is not needed to attend the programs.  The programs start at 1:30 (EXCEPT JUNE 29-2:00 PM START) and typically last about an hour and a half.  Pick up a reading log, take part in our ongoing activities that include finding the golden book, the ?guessing jar?, look and find cabinet, activity sheets, and of course, checking out some great materials.  We are excited to see you.  Turn in your completed reading logs by July 22 to be eligible for drawings and to receive a prize bag!

Wednesday, June 15-Library staff kick off the program with stories, crafts, and a fun-filled picture scavenger hunt in the library!

Wednesday, June 22-DreamAcres-Eva Barr from DreamAcres will read some of her favorite stories and we will have a fun-filled craft.

**Wednesday, June 29th2:00 PM Once Upon A Reader’s “Ten Pigs, An Epic Bath Adventure”-We will welcome author and illustrator Derek Anderson to the library to share his piggy story with us.  Join us for this fun filled event, enjoy juice and cookies, and meet a real pig!

Wednesday, July 6thNo program-stop in for a take-home craft and more books!

**Wednesday, July 13th-Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center-The Birds of Prey program will be here to show us those daring winged creatures up close and personal.  Craft time afterwards.

**Wednesday, July 20thDazzling Dave, National Yo-Yo Master-Dave will be spinning it up at the library!  Bring your own yo-yo to learn some new tricks!  Craft time afterwards.
